5 Cose Che Non Sai Sui Listicle

3. BuzzFeed apparently dislikes the term and discourages its staff from using it, preferring the term list.
4. While listicles with 10 items are the most numerous, the most popular BuzzFeed listicles contain 29 items. Which seems like quite a lot.

Origins
A blend of the words list and article, listicle has been around for some years but no one seems to know who coined it. It’s an appealing word and its appeal may have something to do with its association with popsicle, the American term for an ice lolly; indeed listicles could be said to be similar to popsicles in that they are enjoyable but unsustaining.
